Conscious Connected Breathwork: Monthly Alumni Session

Two hours of Conscious Connected Breathwork online, on the full moon, for clients who’ve practised in person before.

Full details

This is the deeper container, held online for people who already know the work in their body. Two hours of connected breathing, paced to your own capacity, with time to settle and let the session integrate before we close.

Held on the full moon: a natural pause in the month, a fitting evening to let the breath move what’s ready to move.

Because an online space asks more of your own regulation, it’s reserved for clients who have sat with Yaku before, in person or in a prior session together.

The shape of it: a slow arrival and settling · around an hour of connected breathing, met where it is rather than pushed · somatic integration · space to share before you go.

For: returning clients and alumni.

Before you join: a quiet, private space; somewhere to lie down; headphones. This isn’t a first breathwork session.

Somatic Resourcing: Building an Inner Anchor

A free 50-minute session on resourcing: building something steady to return to.

Full details

Before we work with anything difficult, we build something to stand on. This free hour introduces resourcing: the felt anchors, inner and outer, that help the nervous system steady itself. By the end you’ll have one you can return to, in a session or in an ordinary day.

The shape of it: a short, plain teaching on resourcing and why capacity comes before depth · a guided practice to find and settle into a felt resource · a simple way to use it between now and the next time.

For: anyone. Newcomers, people who’ve done therapy, anyone carrying a lot. No experience needed.

Before you join: a quiet spot and somewhere comfortable to sit.

Tremoring

Neurogenic Tremors: the body’s natural mechanism for self-regulation

A 50-minute introduction to the body’s natural tremor response, on the new moon.

Full details

Animals in the wild shake after danger passes. It’s how the body lets go of survival stress. We have the same mechanism, a gentle involuntary tremor, but we tend to override it. This session is a simple introduction to that natural response: what it is, how to let the body find it, and how to stay in charge of it the whole way through.

Held on the new moon: the quiet, inward turn of the month, a fitting evening to let the body settle and release.

It sits within the wider somatic work, meeting tension in the body and letting it settle, rather than pushing through it.

The shape of it: a little of the why: how the body discharges stress, and why we hold it in · a gentle, guided sequence to invite the tremor · titration throughout, small doses, always within your control · settling and integration to close.

For: the curious, people carrying physical tension, anyone who tends to live in their head. No experience needed.

Before you join: a quiet space and room to lie down.

The tremor can feel strong; it’s self-paced, and you can slow or stop at any moment. It isn’t advised in some conditions (pregnancy, recent injury or surgery, certain cardiovascular or psychiatric conditions), so check with your GP if you’re unsure.

— not ready to reach out?

Take a practice with you.

In the hardest moments, understanding why rarely settles you. The body needs something to do. This is a short, printable guide with 6 detailed practices to build your capacity and resilience in moments of need, each one matched to the state you’re actually in: wired, overwhelmed, or shut down.

No theory, nothing to watch, nothing to get right. Just simple, body-based practices to reach for when you need them, and a steady way back to the ground and the present. Keep it on your phone or print it, and use whichever one fits the moment.

These practices are the ground the deeper work is built on.
